We provide more than riding lessons!
Our philosophy is providing a safe, fun, educational environment for our students of all ages in both riding lessons and stable management, and the safety and happiness of our horses.
We are serious about what we do, and we have a lot of fun doing it.
Our programs are flexible in their daily content and flow, but never waver from the solid foundation of the classical principles of riding.

Storm Grove Stables is a place where your children will beg to take riding lessons with their friends, and where you will feel comfortable in the knowledge that while your children are having the time of their life, the underlying theme is always to help them develop life skills, along with their riding skills.
They will practice responsibility, empathy, leadership, sportsmanship, fair play, generosity, time-management skills, communication skills with both animals and other humans, and a work ethic.
They will be introduced to these concepts from the beginning through interaction with the horses, the instructors, and their fellow students.
These concepts and others are absorbed through the daily activities and responsibilities of the barn, through observing the professional and responsible behaviour of others, and through mentorship opportunities.
For our adult students, there is the same sense of camaraderie, and a joy in the knowledge that everyone is here for the same reason--to have fun in a supportive environment and to gain knowledge and insight into the world of horses, as well as advance in your riding skill-set, whether your goals are competition, or a just a greater harmony between two species!
